Sometimes, changing the context of which things are viewed is powerful. Case in point, I'm currently studying for the CFA level 2 exam, and for some reason it's been going slow and sometimes seemingly deradful. Until I realized, that hey, it's just a game. Not exactly a conventional way of looking at it, but it's one that gives me power, joy, and enthusiasm. I really do enjoy the subjects and learning, and the test is really just a measure of it, or rather a practice of what I've learned. It's similar to learning chess, the curriculum are the rules, how the pieces move, playing the game is practicing, and I play to practice, enjoy it and have fun. Why bother doing it if it's not fun? I immediately felt more invigorated after changing my viewpoints on studying. This is great, ok back to gaming!
